Carl R. Turner Releases DISCOVERING GOD AND HIS CREATION
In his thought-provoking new book, "Discovering God and His Creation: Evolution as Part of God's Plan" (published by iUniverse), author and physician Carl R. Turner explores the relationship between evolution, nature, the image of God and the existence of miracles in today's scientific age.
"Discovering God and His Creation" focuses on two main questions: is there evidence of God's existence and is evolution true? Turner believes the answer is yes to both questions, and his book provides evidence to support his belief that both Christianity and evolution are compatible.
Turner uses a blend of research, biblical references and personal experiences to back up his thesis. His conclusions about God as a loving father show how Christianity and evolution often work in tandem and readers need not choose one or the other.
Laconic and straightforward, "Discovering God and His Creation" presents Turner's findings in concise manner. He hopes to assure readers that God is the true father and that there is no conflict between science and religion.
"If God is truly a father and not a distant master, then he would only put his children in charge of a natural world that they could understand, and the only way mankind can understand nature is if it is the result of an evolutionary process," Turner writes. "Our understanding of both God and nature rests on this."
