NEW YORK, Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Bestselling and award-winning publisher DK is proud to announce that it will exhibit at the 11th annual Brooklyn Book Festival, the largest free literary event in New York City, this September 17th and September 18 in downtown Brooklyn. One of America's premier book festivals, Brooklyn Book Festival serves host to a diverse group ofbook and magazine publishers, features more than 200 national and international authors, and has one festival day dedicated to the celebration of children's literature. Organizers project crowds of 40,000+ will visit the literary marketplace over the course of the weekend.

During Children's Day on Saturday, September 17th, stop by DK booth #24 for new books that encourage readers to build, invent, and discover through kid-safe projects and crafts. From coding games in scratch to making a lemon battery, DK's fall collection builds upon upon STEAM education initiatives (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and promotes hands-on learning and critical thinking. On Sunday, September 18th, visit DK Booth #319 in the main exhibitor area for an exclusive preview of its top holiday picks that celebrate Star Wars, LEGO , American Girl , and Marvel, available to purchase in an assortments of popular formats, including sticker collections and ultimate visual guides. In addition to books, visitors to the booth can pick up free bookmarks, coding kits, and stickers and participate in an interactive photo display featuring the Marvel comic character, Hulk.
