Boulevard Books Releases 'The Illustrated Guide to Milk Wagons' by John Gulino and David P. Barnes

"The Illustrated Guide to Milk Wagons" is a guide for antique milk wagon collectors. There is a cross section in these pages of almost every manufacturer who manufactured milk wagons at one time in America. We believe it would be a valuable tool for any milk wagon collector, and further, that what is in these pages harkens back to the time when milk and bread were a major delivered staple in every household, a quieter, perhaps happier time. John Gulino was born on Staten Island and is a lifelong collector of antique toys, lionel
trains and Hess Trucks. His Hess Trucks have been a feature article in the local newspaper and his lionel train layout has been the centerfold of Classic Toy Trains in a prior issue. This book reflects the extent of his collection which has taken many, many years to assemble. John is the chairman of the Staten Island Democratic Party as well as Treasurer of the State Democratic Party.

David Barnes, born and raised in the Midwest, loves to tell his grandchildren stories of the way things were. Antique toys, and particularly these milk wagons, are a vivid connection
between us and the world that made them.
