Award-winning Author, Bob Kelly will be featured in the latest book of the Outlier Leadership Series, Outliers in Writing, set to publish in summer 2017.

In Outliers in Writing, Kelly shares his perspective on the importance of engaging readers with compelling content.

"Choose the words you use wisely," says Kelly. "It's been 2,000 years since Roman leader Julius Caesar offered this bit of wisdom: 'Avoid a strange and unfamiliar word as you would a dangerous reef.'"

Bob Kelly is the creator of Arizona-based WordCrafters, Inc, a resource website dedicated to provide writing and editorial services for speakers, writers, and business leaders. A former bank president, ministry executive, and New York Times newspaper reporter, Kelly is an award-winning author who has written and co-authored over three dozen books. The Tremendous Power of Prayer was honored with a Silver Angel award at the 24th Annual International Angels Awards.

Kelly is a proud member of the American Christian Writers Association, the Christian Meetings and Conventions Association, and the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors.

Kelly, who has worked with Dr. John Shufeldt for years on the Outlier Leadership Series has been instrumental in the editing of the books. Shufeldt says Kelly's contribution on the Outlier Leadership Series has been invaluable.

"The Outlier Leadership Series would not be what it is without Bob's writing and editing skills," says Shufeldt. "His years of experience bring the words on the page to life."

In his interview, Kelly emphasizes the importance of engaging readers with readable, well-written content.

"Unless you're writing a legal brief or a doctoral thesis, it's important to focus on what I call writing's ABCs - Accuracy, Brevity and Clarity," says Kelly. "At the same time, the most important factor of all - by far - is Readability! No matter how well-written your manuscript may be, it absolutely must engage the reader, or you're wasting your time, and your money."

Each book in the Outlier Leadership Series serve as a virtual mentor to readers. The books provide exclusive interview content from six professionals at the top of their field, action guides and targeted resources for those looking to succeed in a chosen profession.
