AudiobooksNow Adds Macmillan Audio Titles

AudiobooksNow has added over 1,100 Macmillan Audio titles to its digital audiobook download and streaming service. Macmillan Audio publishes a broad range of quality works, including award-winning fiction, nonfiction, and much-loved children's books.

Macmillan Audio, formally Audio Renaissance, was founded in 1987 and records fiction and nonfiction available for both adults and children. Some of the Macmillan's popular authors include Janet Evanovich, Robert Jordan, Douglas Preston, Lisa Scottoline, Michael Palmer, Bill O'Reilly, Richard North Patterson, and P. C. Cast.

All Macmillan's digital audiobooks are DRM-free which means consumers can download and transfer their purchases to multiple compatible devices for personal use. DRM stands for (Digital Rights Management) which controls how digital content is handled. More and more audiobook publishers have been offering their content DRM-free in recent years. "DRM-free titles offer consumers greater convenience and flexibility," Ross said.
