The World Health Organization estimates that over 800,000 people die due to suicide every year. In "A Living Hell" (published by AuthorHouse), the first published book of James Bailey, readers are taught to believe in one's self and to remove all the negativities in their lives.

An anti-suicide book, this story mainly follows Justin Williamson, who has to get through some real tough problems. In "A Living Hell," the main characters deal with some heavy problems such as abuse, neglect, abandonment, depression and even suicidal thoughts.

"Kids are abandoned by their parents, bullied, attempt or commit suicide far too often. Depression is a serious subject and I tried to shed some light on it through a series of life's challenges I wish people didn't have to face," the author says.

An excerpt from the book:
Here's a tip: If I haven't sought you out, it's because I no longer have use for you or want you in my life. Your purpose has been served. If I kept you, you are special.
