In her new book, "As I Walk" (published by Balboa Press), author Anna Adidepvoraphan shares her journey into self-awareness through a series of black-and-white drawings and inspired verses.

"I asked for clarity and inspiration from the angels to write and draw," Adidepvoraphan says.

"As I Walk" shares Adidepvoraphan's quest to understand her personal inner workings and how that understanding led her to a better connection with the world around her. She shows readers how she learned to embrace her true self, leave her comfort zone and understand and love others unconditionally.

"I know that anyone who reads my book will see themselves in me as I have seen myself in everything around me," Adidepvoraphan says. "I would like to think that my book will inspire others to come out of the shadows and help them embrace their true selves."

Adidepvoraphan realized she was living a life of fear. She was afraid to show her authentic self because she didn't want to hurt others and appear as a "freak." She learned that only through sharing her true self was she finally able to learn and grow - a message she shares with readers in "As I Walk."
