Ann Mobley shares her personal experiences in an effort to help other families understand loved ones who are homosexual in her new book, "If I Tell You I'm Gay, Will You Still Love Me?: One Mother's Journey to Truth and Grace" (published by CrossBooks).

"I was devastated when I learned my only son was gay and in a homosexual relationship," Mobley shares. "The discovery launched a desperate search for personal and biblical answers to my troubling questions. My book shares not only the grace and faithfulness of God on this journey, but also provides helpful information and guidelines to assist others in similar situations to find strength and courage and to respond with compassion without compromising biblical truths."

The issue of same sex relationships, the demand for equal rights for gays and lesbians and the increasing support for legalization of same-sex marriage has been making headlines for several years. According to Mobley, "more and more pressure is being put on everyone, especially Christians, to not just tolerate but accept and embrace same sex relationships."

"If I Tell You I'm Gay, Will You Still Love Me?" seeks to give readers a better understanding of how Christians should respond to the issue of homosexuality. "Following the example of Jesus in the Gospels, they are to see 'sinners' as people of value and worth, made in God's image, and loved by him and that it is possible, by Christ's indwelling presence, to stand in the truth of God's Word about the sinfulness of homosexual relationships and at the same time to stand in grace, demonstrating God's unconditional love to them."
