Syracuse University Presents STONE CANOE: A Literary Showcase, 10/13
Syracuse University's newest arts and literary journal, Stone Canoe, enjoys remarkable critical and popular success highlighting the work of writers and artists with a current or historical connection to Upstate New York. Joining in reading from their works will be:
Henry Allen- novelist, poet and former Washington Post writer who won the Pulitzer Prize for criticism in 2000.
Harriet Brown- poet and journalist whose most recent book, Brave Girl Eating, is a landmark study of the dangers of anorexia.
RAndy Cohen- four-time Emmy winner for his writing for David Letterman and Michael Moore. He formerly wrote the Ethicist column in the New York Times.
CharLes Martin- three-time Pulitzer Prize nominee, most recently the author of Signs and Wonders.
