Non-profit theatre company Road Less Traveled Productions is inviting Western New York to enjoy a special night of performance and culture in the heart of Buffalo's Theatre District. Tonight, November 16th, 2013, RLTP will host a 10th Anniversary Gala in celebration of its achievements to date.

The black-tie event will offer attendees a full evening of entertainment, featuring dinner at Buffalo's historic Saturn Club on Delaware Avenue, a performance of Clybourne Park at 710 Main Theatre, and a post-performance cocktail reception with RLTP's 2013 American Theatre Master and 2013 Tony Award Winner Pam MacKinnon at the Saturn Club.

The event will mark an important milestone in the young history of the ambitious theater company, which has produced 41 plays, including 22 world-premieres, since its inception. "Road Less Traveled Productions has grown by leaps and bounds over the past 10 years," said Artistic Director Scott Behrend. "And, we have done so while diligently maintaining our mission of developing and producing local works and presenting modern drama of literary merit."

The company has embedded itself into Buffalo's storied theater community through a strategically linked line of programming, including the New Play Workshop, Mighty Taco Talkback Thursdays, and the Buffalo Young Writers Contest. Through its American Theatre Masters Series, RLTP also has successfully brought renowned theatrical professionals to our city, including Edward Albee, Alec Baldwin, Eric Bogosian, James Rebhorn, Stephen Adly Guirgis, and A.R. Gurney.

The black-tie event will begin at 5:00 PM at the Saturn Club, located at 977 Delaware Avenue in Downtown Buffalo. The evening's schedule will be as follows:

5:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Open bar & appetizers at the Saturn Club

6:00 PM to 7:30 PM - Seated dinner at the Saturn Club

7:30 PM to 8:00 PM - Bus accommodations to 710 Main Theatre

8:00 PM to 10:00 PM - Performance of Clybourne Park, by Bruce Norris, at 710 Main Theatre; bus transportation back to Saturn Club immediately following performance conclusion

10:00 PM to 12:00 AM - Cash-bar reception with special guest Pam MacKinnon at the Saturn Club.

"This event will be the culmination and celebration of 10 years of great live theater in Buffalo," said Scott Behrend. "It will be a tribute to all of the terrific artists who make Road Less Traveled Productions possible."

The company will also be celebrating its return to 710 Main, where it produced Circle Mirror Transformation earlier this year. According to Behrend, Clybourne Park is a perfect show for RLTP to produce at this vaunted theatrical setting. "It's a great play about important issues that are very relevant to our Buffalo community, a perfect elixir for any RLTP show."

Tickets to RLTP's 10th Anniversary Gala are currently on sale and are only available for purchase from Road Less Traveled Productions.

Gala ticket pricing, inclusive of the pre-performance cocktail party, seated dinner, transportation, live performance, and post-performance cash-bar reception, is $175 for a single ticket or $325 for a ticket pair.
