Road Less Traveled Productions presents 2013 Pulitzer Prize-Winner, DISGRACED ImageRoad Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) tackles politics and religion in its upcoming Western New York production of Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar. Disgraced, winner of 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and nominated for 2015 Tony Award for Best Play, will star Afrim Gjonbalaj, Kristen Tripp Kelley, Matt Witten, Candace Whitfield, and Mohammad Farraj under the direction of RLTP Associate Artistic Director John Hurley. Production team includes Lynne Koscielniak (set design), John Rickus (light design), Jenna Damberger (costume design), Sam Crystal (props), Katie Menke (sound design) and Adam Rath (violence coordinator). Disgraced is proudly sponsored by The Law Office of LeRoi C. Johnson PLLC.

Synopsis: Amir Kapoor, a breath away from making partner in his NYC law firm, is living the "American Dream". That dream, however, could come crashing down after Amir and his wife Emily host a dinner party for co-workers at their upscale Manhattan apartment, and find it's their actions and intentions on the menu instead. Winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and nominated for a 2015 Tony Award for Best Play, this daring, explosive play questions our perception of identity and religion in a fractured 21st Century America.

Disgraced opens Friday, March 9 and runs through Saturday, March 31 at the Road Less Traveled Theater at 500 Pearl Street. Regular performance times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30PM and Sunday at 2:00PM. Tickets are $35 general admission plus $5 students (Thursday) $20 students (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Mighty Taco Student Thursdays will now be extended to four weeks, dates: March 8, 15, 22, 29. Tickets can be ordered online at www.roadlesstraveledproductions.org, by calling the RLTP Box Office at (716) 629-3069, or by visiting the Box Office during the 30 minutes prior to any performance.
