Photo Flash: First Look at Road Less Traveled Productions' DINNER WITH FRIENDS
Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) opens its 2016-2017 season with Pulitzer Prize-winning drama (2000) Dinner with Friends, by this season's American Theatre Master Donald Margulies. Dinner with Friends will open Friday, September 9th, at the Road Less Traveled Theater. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!
The comedy will star Kelly Meg Brennan, Dave Hayes, Lisa Vitrano, and Phil Farugia under the direction of Katie Mallinson. Production team includes Lucas Lloyd (stage management), Dyan Burlingame (set), John Rickus (light), Katie Menke (sound), Maura Simmonds Price (props), and Karen Albarella (costume).
When Gabe and Karen set up friends Beth and Tom one summer on the Vineyard, these two couples became as close as family. But after years of shared meals, shared vacations, and shared lives, one couple's surprising break-up shatters the peace of all four lives. In his Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Margulies reveals in witty, poignant strokes the shared anxieties that accompany life's biggest choices and most turbulent changes. At turns buoyant and heartbreaking, revelatory and reflective, this "rueful comedy" speaks to our complex appetite for love, appreciation, and friendship.
Dinner with Friends will run Friday September 9th - Sunday October 2nd at the Road Less Traveled Theater. Tickets are $35 general admission and $20 for students. Tickets can be ordered online at www.roadlesstraveledproductions.org, by calling the RLTP Box Office at (716) 629-3069, or by visiting the Box Office during the 30 minutes prior to any performance.
