Downstairs Cabaret Theatre to Present BORN TO RUN IN THE USA This Month

Downstairs Cabaret Theatre is pleased to announce a limited three-show only engagement of the Born to Run in the USA, a high-energy salute to American rock and roll icon Bruce Springsteen.

Performances are Thursday, July 21 at 7:00pm; Friday, July 22 at 8:00pm; and Saturday, July 23 at 8:00pm at Downstairs Cabaret at Winton Place, 3450 Winton Place, Brighton-Henrietta (convenient free parking and handicapped accessible).

Tickets are $27 for Thursday, $30 for Friday and Saturday, and may be purchased in advance by calling (585) 325- 4370. Discounts are available for seniors (age 60 and above), groups (10 or more), full-time students (age 22 and under), military personnel, and DCT Members. Bruce Springsteen is a true American icon. His music is the epic embodiment of the "runaway American dream": rock and roll, independence, love, struggle, and triumph. ERic Brown & The L Street Band capture the essence of Bruce's iconic sound in a way that pays homage to the legend's early rise from New Jersey working class hero to international superstar. The stage show has the kinetic energy that only Springsteen's music can generate: a visual spectacle accompanied by memorable music. Featuring Dancing in the Dark, Born in the USA, Hungry Heart, Born to Run, fan-favorite Rosalita and many other Springsteen classics.

Downstairs Cabaret audiences will recognize ERic Brown from his performances here as guitarist for Man In Black: The Music of Johnny Cash. ERic Brown heads an all-star team of performers specializing in rock/blues from the 50's to today. ERic Brown and the L Street Band focus on the music of Bruce Springsteen, but play a variety of classic rock music including Tom Petty, CCR, John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, Chuck Berry and more. Always an energetic performer, Eric endeavors to capture the essence of what makes rock/blues music so great and pour intensity into every stage experience. Eric's background includes performing all over the world in many different projects. He has also written and produced multiple original albums and recorded in the studio for many different performers. From 2010 to 2014 Eric was owner of a successful Southwest company which produced over 50 different types of shows in all genres. Eric is joined by a band of five including Jenn Cristy whose multitude of credits include touring and recording with John Mellencamp.
