nocturne Presents WITNESS THE BEGINNING Tonight

By:

nocturne is proud to present their debut creation, Witness the Beginning, an immersive experience that examines humanity in its purest form. The performance will occur for one-night-only tonight, October 10, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. The event will take place in a secret Brooklyn warehouse near the Gowanus Canal. The exact location will be revealed to the public one week before the show. Audience members are invited to stay after the performance for a post-show celebration with an open bar, live music by Alter, and a DJ set by PennyWild, both New York-based artists.

Directed by Drew Weinstein, Witness the Beginning viscerally surrounds spectators with the breath of a world at the dawn of human civilization. During the performance, the audience takes part in the culture and customs of a re-imagined human tribe in a production that explores their relationship with Mother Earth.

The Witness the Beginning ensemble includes Kristen Dawn-Dumas, Carl Hsu, Natalia Lopresti, Eiko Kawashima, Ashton Muñiz, Joe Pietropaolo, Alex Seife, Irina Varina, and Melanie Ward. Direction by Drew Weinstein; voice and speech coaching by Thomas Rene; production design by Anna Grigo; lighting design by Jessica Creagar; music composition by Ben Kutner. A nocturne production, produced by Drew Weinstein, Gregory Carter, Ashton Muñiz, and Katy Newton. Running time for performance is one hour, followed by two hours of live music. This event is recommended for ages 13 and up. Audience members must be 21 and over to consume alcohol. Ticket prices are $25 and include admission to performance and post-show gathering. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges allowed. Tickets available via Eventbrite
