Speak Your Truth to Present A NIGHT OF LAUGHTER and A NIGHT OF ART in Brooklyn, Today

Speak Your Truth is proud to announce an evening of art with a taste of comedy. A Night of Laughter and A Night of Art is a group show featuring the art of Christina Thomas, Victoria Krikorian, Phoebe Foley and Josh Lucas. Performances by Liam McEneaney, Eric Vetter, Brian Einersen, Shye Sales, Blakeley, Ashley Prescott and special guests. All art work will be sold for a $500 and under. A Night of Laughter and Night of Art is an evening of raw narrative in the forms of spoken word, comedy and visual art. Shye Sales, author and poet will be center stage. The comedy of Liam McEneaney, Eric Vetter and Brian Einersen provide a taste of humor. Phoebe's prints explore color and space in a unique way. Victoria's work documents her existential journey in spoken word and in her visual art. Josh's works evoke a sense of fantasy. His work brings the viewer out of the ordinary and into the moment. Christina creates Ribbons a series that documents movement between color and space. Shye Sales author of Salutations to the Dawn, and is a poet that has the ability to make you laugh and cry at the same time. Ashley Prescott brings power and laughter to the stage in her spoken word debut with Speak Your Truth. The art consists of photography, painting and mixed media pieces. Blakeley will be playing on acoustic guitar. Speak Your Truth is bringing the healing force of laughter to the first Friday in January. Speak Your Truth's first event of the New Year in their permanent first Friday of the month location at the Earth Wellness Café.

The event will take place at Earth Wellness Cafe, 397 Graham Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211 on Friday, January 2, 2015. It will run from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Admission for the art exhibit from 7:30 to 9 PM is free. The performance is from 9 PM to 11 PM and admission for is $10 (cash only).

Speak Your Truth was created on the founding principle that art can heal. The complimentary pairing of Christina Thomas's creativity and Nieta Greene's business savvy proved for a union of mind and soul.
