Photo Flash: First Look at The Heights Players Theater's SNOW WHITE
It's time to help Snow White save the kingdom! The Heights Players' Theater for Children presents a new adaptation of Snow White The Heights Players Theater for Children presents another original production of a well-known story, opening this weekend with two performances on Saturday, March 14 and then again on Saturday, March 21.
The story is that of Snow White, written by Hilary Goldman and Kevin McAuley, and this audience-participation play comes complete with original music written by Kevin McAuley, and of course, there's a princess, an evil queen, a magic mirror and plenty of dwarfs to entertain children of all ages! When Princess Snow White is forced from her own kingdom by a jealous Evil Queen, she finds herself lost, confused, and surrounded by a small band of odd, though well-meaning, forest-dwelling dwarfs. Cut off from the humdrum of royalty, Snow White must decide where she fits in and who she wants to be. But all the while, the Evil Queen grows more powerful and, well... evil, until it becomes clear that no one is safe from her malevolent reign! Can Snow White and her new friends stop the Evil Queen and save the kingdom once and for all? They will need all the help they can get and will be asking audience members to help them overcome the Evil Queen's dastardly schemes.
Join the Heights Players Theater for Children on this this journey of friendship, bravery and self-discovery this Saturday, March 14th at 12 noon and/or at 2:00 p.m. Two more performances will be presented on Saturday, March 21st at 12 noon and at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $6 and reservations can be made by emailing TheaterforChildren@heightsplayers.org.
