Nasty Canasta, Wasabassco, & Wit's End to Host King Kong Burlesque Show, 10/18

On Friday October 18 2013, Nasty Canasta, Wasabassco, & Wit's End present WASABASSCO's KONG: a full theatrical burlesque tribute to 1933's King Kong in celebration of the film's 80th anniversary.

Wasabassco's most epic production to date will feature world-premiere striptease and variety performances by many of our locally- and internationally-renowned performers; a fully-scripted, Wasabassco-style adaptation of the classic tale of the Eighth Wonder Of The World; extravagant props, costumes and set pieces; fire, aerial and group numbers; and - of course - one giant ape.

Written & Directed by Nasty Canasta and starring Hazel Honeysuckle, Handsome Jim Greene, Nasty Canasta, Evelyn Vinyl, Go-Go Harder, Kita St. Cyr, Mala Morrigan, Marlo Marquise, Medianoche, Penny Wren, Sapphire Jones, and KONG: The Eight Wonder of The World!

With a VIP pre-show party from 8-9pm including a talk by world-renowned Kong expert Ray Morton, author of King Kong: The History of a Movie Icon from Fay Wray to Peter Jackson. VIP tickets come with guaranteed seating for the show.
