Letter of Marque Theater to Present BULLY ME DOWN, 4/21-5/21

LETTER OF MARQUE THEATER COMPANY is pleased to announce the original Pirate-Whistleblower-Bully premiere of Nolan Kennedy's BULLY ME DOWN, directed by Welland H. Scripps. BULLY ME DOWN will play a five week limited engagement beginning Wednesday, April 21st through Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 at different bars in Brooklyn, including 5th Estate Bar (506 5th Avenue), Freddy's Bar (627 5th Avenue), Hanks Saloon (46 3rd Avenue) and more.
Captain Kidd wasn't a pirate, but he was hanged as one. Edward Snowden betrayed the American government, but he did it for his country. And teenage Bobby Culliford is a victim of bullying, but he bullies himself out of it. Letter of Marque Theater Co. premieres a time-bending, interwoven epic about what it means to be respected,what it means to be a hero and just how far we'll go to play the victim. The show features original and re-imagined music performed by theable-bodied ensemble. The production stars Nolan Kennedy, Scarlet M. Rivera, Welland Hardwick Scripps, and Jason Tottenham. The production features set design by Steven Brenman, costume design by Julie Saltman, and puppet design and construction by Serra Hirsch, Puppet Junction. The production manager is Michelangelo DeSerio. BULLY ME DOWN plays Sundays - Wednesdays at 8 pm. The performance on Sunday, May 18th is at 3 pm. Tickets are free. No Reservation Required.
