Lane Moore, Janelle James, Marlena Rodriguez and More Set for STAND UP AGAINST RAPE at Littlefield
On Friday, March 3rd at 8:00pm at Littlefield in Brooklyn, F*ck Rape Culture will present STAND UP AGAINST RAPE, a fundraiser for the Committee to Recall Judge Aaron Persky, formed in response to the Brock Turner rape case at Stanford University.
Money raised will allow the organization to begin collecting signatures in April 2017 to try and get Aaron Persky ON the ballot in California so he can be voted off - otherwise he runs unopposed until 2022.
The event will feature standup comedy from Lane Moore (Tinder Live! with Lane Moore, HBO's GIRLS, Broad City), Marcia Belsky (NBC StandUp For Diversity, Reductress), Janelle James (Seeso's Night Train with Wyatt Cenac, @midnight), Giulia Rozzi (The Jim Gaffigan Show, Comedy Central), Arti Gollapudi (UCB, LAWL: Ladies and Women Laughing), Marlena Rodriguez (Comedy Central Comic to Watch, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), plus more to be announced, with raffle prizes, F*ck Rape Culture merch, and more. Hosted by Blair Socci and Farah Brook (HARRIET).
