Hey There Beautiful Inc. to Participate in International Women's Day Celebration
After losing her father in August of 2016 to colon cancer, President and Founder Dailisha Eve Rodriguez and her dynamic Board of Directors decided to continue to promote their mission of empowering young girls, women and the globe. Hey There Beautiful Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of New York empowering women and young girls to achieve their dreams through education, motivation, self-awareness, and development.
On International Women's Day we will celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Join us for a spectacular celebration that includes raffles, live music and food. Entertainment includes a Bollywood performance by the remarkable Mohamed A. Amid whose energetic passion for dancing and theater shines in his performance. We are also holding a confidence building workshop where you will learn how to boost confidence, raise self-esteem, how to interact with others all while raising your awareness. Guest speakers include Angie Bastian, co-founder of Angie's BOOMCKICKAPOP who took a kernel of an idea and popped it into one of the nation's largest brands of better-for-you popcorn1.?
Angie has twice won Star Tribune's Top Workplaces honor, and the Girls Scouts Centennial celebration honored her as a pioneering Trailblazer. In addition, Tonia Hardy who is the homeless mother of three junior Olympic champions having appeared on ABC's The View, AP, The Huffington Post, New York Post, CBS, Essence, The WN, TV Guide, Time Magazine, ESPN, will speak about her incredible journey including losing her son to gun violence. This is an amazing opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, promote your business, engage with others and build community.
