Happy Solstice! Come Celebrate with Make Music Winter.

Today, Wednesday, December 21st, marks the first day of winter and the longest night of the year. Throughout history and across the globe, cultures have observed this day with a wide variety of rituals in celebration of rebirth. Make Music New York invites and encourages you to brighten the day through the power and joy of music at one of our thirteen participatory parades.

Visit our website for detailed descriptions of all thirteen Make Music Winter parades, or click on the program links below that spark your interest. As always, all Make Music celebrations are free for participants and spectators alike.

We look forward to seeing you in the parks and on the sidewalks of New York City throughout the day!
