The 2013 Next Wave Festival performances at the BAM Fisher conclude this December with three thought-provoking theater and offerings.

In Bodycast: An Artist Lecture by Suzanne Bocanegra starring Frances McDormand, the Academy Award-winning actor performs an inventive theatricalization of the ubiquitous "artist talk," inspired in part by the two teenage years visual artist Bocanegra spent in a body cast due to scoliosis.

With Bleed, Tere O'Connor Dance makes its BAM debut with a world premiere engagement which incorporates elements of three previous critically-acclaimed works.

And in A Piece of Work: A machine-made Hamlet by Annie Dorsen Shakespeare's Hamlet is fed into a computer, which generates countless possibilities for actors Scott Shepherd and Joan MacIntosh in alternating performances. Designed as an intimate and flexible performance space for both emerging and established artists, the BAM Fisher became part of the BAM campus in the fall of 2012.

All BAM Fisher Next Wave Festival tickets are $20.
