Cherry Hellodies 4 To Take Coney Island Sideshow Stage

The annual event Cherry Hellodies will once again rock the Coney Island Sideshow Stage this September 2nd. Cherry Hellodies is the wildest Burlesque and most daring Sideshow anywhere - with all live music, the entire night provided by Miss Cherry Delight and her 5 piece rock band.

The show features 10 acts, a very generous raffle with an intense grand prize from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Photographer, Len DeLessio. Sideshows By The Seashore seats 130 and this show sells out every year.

Miss Cherry Delight has a theater residency with Coney Island USA and puts on Cherry Hellodies annually, for one night only.

The cast includes Pearls Daily, Kita St Cyr, Alaska The Lostboy, Witch Tulips, Rara Darling, Anna Monoxide, Maggie McMuffin Faux Pas Le Fae & Aurora North.

Says Cherry:

"10 years ago I started producing a burlesque variety show that was originally called 'Cherry Melodies' (the title was a play on Loony Tunes 'Merrie Melodies'). I sang several different genres of music (pop, showtunes, glam rock, r&b, indie) for different neo-burlesque performances. However, I knew that it was time for me to really focus on my destiny which was loud, in-your-face rock n' roll. In 2018, I had the first show that involved exclusively hard rock, metal, goth, and post punk music. That was the beginning of Cherry Hellodies. I'm so proud of how we push the envelope further and further every year. There is nothing like a feral Coney Island audience going bezerk with joy. That's the best part."

Bambi The Mermaid is a Burlesque Legend, the Queen of Coney Island, and creator of the Burlesque At The Beach program which just celebrated its 25th year. She has this to say about Cherry Hellodies:

"Cherry Hellodies is the ultimate satisfaction and peak climax of the Burlesque at the Beach series at Coney Island USA every summer! "

Says Chuck Varga, the founder of GWAR: "I'm very proud of Cherry and this abomination of flesh, danger and heavy Metal that she's curated. I'm in the front row head banging every year."

The show is happening on September, 2nd at Coney Island USA Sideshows By The Seashore Theater, 1208 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11224 at 9pm. Tickets can be purchased here for $25.
