Bad Theatre Fest to Present THE YOUTHFUL ADVENTURES OF DAMON DUKIRK 11/5

By:

Starring Brooklyn-based actor Zach Wegner (Law and Order), The Youthful Adventures of Damon Dukirk by award-winning Australian playwright, Kieran Carroll, is an episodic monologue, both comic and reflective, detailing the hopeless misadventures of a hedonistic poet.

A great critical success in his 20s, Damon Dukirk finds nothing but failure in his early 30s. He descends into suburban ennui. Sick of art, he sees little future until he wins a German poetry prize which take him spinning into the world of becoming a new European cult figure. Relishing language and anecdote and the trial of being an artist, this Australian/American collaboration between Carroll and Wegner is not to be missed!
