Looking for something fun and different to entertain the kids these Easter school holidays? Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) has just the ticket with an exciting program that includes performances by an international Circus company in Cirque de la Symphonie and favourite story book characters coming to life on stage in the return of Hairy Maclary and Friends.

Cirque de la Symphonie is a spectacular show that pairs the magic and excitement of circus with the vibrancy and enchantment of orchestra. Perfect for April school holiday fun, the circus comes to QPAC for a limited number of not-to-be missed high adrenalin shows from Tuesday 9 April.

Showcasing some of the most amazing international circus acts performing on (and above) QPAC's Concert Hall stage, and accompanied by the wonderful Queensland Pops Orchestra, Cirque de la Symphonie offers a unique circus experience for the whole family.

Enjoy an exciting musical repertoire of classical masterpieces and popular contemporary scores as you experience amazing physical circus acts, including aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers, and strongmen.

Fresh from a sell-out season in January at QPAC, the ever popular family favourite Hairy Maclary and Friends returns for one week only and just in time for these school holidays.

Hairy Maclary and Friends will bound from the page and onto the Cremorne Theatre stage at QPAC from 9 - 13 April 2013.

This production brings to life one of the most iconic children's books. Hairy Maclary and Friends will be sure once again to have audiences laughing out loud as these curious animal characters get up to all sorts of mischief on stage. This popular show is packed with live music, singing, colourful costumes and five of your favourite Hairy Maclary stories.

Queensland Ballet's new production of Ben Stevenson's Cinderella is bound to captivate young and old alike. Set to Prokofiev's expressive music, this magical fairy-tale ballet about dreams that really do come true will be performed in QPAC's Playhouse from 6-20 April.

Don't miss the return season of Hairy Maclary and Friends, the spectacular Cirque de la Symphonie and the charm of Queensland Ballet's Cinderella. Tickets are on sale now so roll up to book now before the clock strikes midnight and the tickets are all dog gone at qpac.com.au or phone 136 246.
