The Finnish Symphonic Orchestra of Lahiti is often described as one of the most respected symphonic groups in the international erudite music scene. With tours around Japan, China and United States, as well as remarkable performances in the English BBC Proms and in the Musikverein Viennese, the orchestra is noteworthy for their imaginative interpretations of classical and modern repertoires of great quality. Winner of a Diapason d’Or de l’Année and of a Gramophone, the orchestra is has been led since 2011 by the Finnish conductor and violinist Okko Kamu.
