The Combattimento Consort Amsterdam has an expertise in the musical repertoire produced between 1600 and 1800. It is distinguished by the blend of traditional Baroque with less known pieces from the same period, which includes Haendel, Rameau and Monteverdi. More than an elaborate discography, the ensemble has earned several distinctions in tours throughout Asia and America. The first Dutch woman ever to receive an award in the International Tchaikovsky Competition, the talented cellist Quirine Viersen will be accompanying the ensemble in the concerts in São Paulo.
