In 1776, African Lodge was formed in Boston, MA by community leader and anti-slavery advocate, Prince Hall and 14 men who had become Freemasons through a military lodge on Castle William Island... that was just the beginning of the story... in the years that followed, African Lodge would become... THIS HOUSE.

THIS HOUSE is a one-act historical drama depicting some of the figures in history who were members of the African Grand Lodge, as well as leading abolitionists in the fight against slavery during the 19th Century.

Written by Mwalim *7), Directed by Naheem Garcia and presented by The PACK (Performing Artists Communicating Knowledge).

This is the latest installment in playwright, Mwalim's 'Among Brothers' play series about the creation and evolution of the Prince Hall branch of Freemasonry.
