Inspired by the popular 1980 film of the same name, 9 to 5: The Musical is a sassy and empowering story set in the cutthroat world of a 9-to-5 office job. Doralee, Violet, and Judy are three fed-up office workers yearning to break free from the soul-crushing tyranny of their sexist boss, Franklin Hart Jr.
Fueled by frustration and a shared desire for revenge, the unlikely trio hatches a hilarious plan. They daydream of a world where they're the ones in charge, and through a twist of fate, their fantasy becomes a temporary reality! Chaos and side-splitting situations erupt as the women turn the tables on Franklin, experiencing the power and perks of being boss for a day.
Packed with catchy Dolly Parton tunes, including the iconic title song "9 to 5" and "I Will Always Love You," the musical celebrates female empowerment and the power of friendship.
