For their Spring Concert, Cambridge Community Chorus is thrilled to present Ralph Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony. This epic masterpiece by the English composer sets the poetry of Walt Whitman to music that evokes the sea in all its moods and takes listeners and performers alike on a transformative voyage of the spirit. Under the baton of Music Director Pamela Mindell, Cambridge’s premier large-scale chorus is joined by a professional orchestra and by acclaimed vocal soloists Lika Miyake, soprano, and Bradford Gleim, baritone.
