Weston Friendly Society Holds Auditions for THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, 1/1-2

Auditions for Thoroughly Modern Millie will take place at the Weston Town Hall on Monday, January 10th and Tuesday, January 11th, 2011 at 7 PM with callbacks on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011 at 7 PM.

Singing Requirements: 32 bars of one uptempo piece that is not from Thoroughly Modern Millie. The piece must be a musical theater song (no pop music, for example).

Dance: Short dance auditions will be held both nights. Those with jazz and tap experience are asked to come to Tuesday night's audition if possible for a more extensive dance audition. Please wear comfortable clothes and appropriate dance shoes.

Age: 9th grade and up.

Please bring a headshot or recent photo, if possible.

Rehearsals will be at the Town Hall on Tuesday and Wednesdays evenings from 7-10 PM and on Sundays from 2-6 PM beginning January 16th. Performances are March 26th and 27th and April 1st and 2nd, 2011.
