Wagner College Theatre Stage One presents Stupid F@%king Bird by Aaron Posner, where Chekhov's story of love, art, and a hapless bird gets a remarkably contemporary face from April 25 through 30 at Stage One.

On the grounds of a country estate, a battle between young and old ensues in this heartbreaking, hilarious, sort-of-adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. Winner of the 2014 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding New Play, Stupid F@%king Bird is about our longing to love and be loved.

Directed by Mickey Tennenbaum, this irreverent play features a talented cast including Nina Gabriela Gross (Emma), Albert Nelthropp (Trig), Brianna Brice (Nina), Nick Manna (Sorn), April Lillard (Mash), Nicholas Barakos (Dev), and Daniel Marconi (Conrad).

The production is designed by Casey Schweiger (scenic design), Pamela Pangaro (lighting design), Addi Berry (costume design), Sarah Aguila (props master), and Stephen C. Kallas (sound design), Austin Genant is Technical Director. Jazmine Minner is Production Stage Manager. Annie Fox and Emily Taylor are Assistant Stage Managers. Hadly Patterson is Assistant Director.
