The Winthrop Playmakers, voted Best Theater Group in the Boston Area, proudly announce their June production of Steve Martin's "Picasso at the Lapin Agile"

Directed by Nick Raponi. This clever comedy places a young Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian café in 1904, just before the scientist writes "The Theory of Relativity" and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon". In his first comedy for the stage, Martin, the popular actor, comedian and screenwriter plays with fact, fame and fortune as these two geniuses speculate on the coming century's achievements and other topics like, sex, art, and science. The subject matter is daring, providing lots of laughs and moments of enlightenment.

Picasso at the Lapin Agile cast includes; Grace Atsalis, Brian Dion, Kirk Hornberger, Bobby Imperato, John Macero, Mark McClelland, Cassandra Meyer, Jennifer Parkos, Will Todisco and Ken Vining.
