The Verve Pipe Performs at TCAN, 2/25

By: Feb. 24, 2010

Thursday February 25, 2010 - 8:00 PM at The Center for Arts in Natick, MA.

THE VERVE PIPE

In 1996 The Verve Pipe broke through in the glow of a massive hit single, The Freshmen, which took on anthemic status for a generation of kids who were making the first real mistakes of their lives. With sales of three million albums worldwide and a reputation for spectacular live performances, lead singer Brian Vander Ark continues to lead the group with a grainy Peter Gabriel-influenced vocal style and strong "adult contemporary" songwriting.

The Verve Pipe's new release A Family Album is an original collection of songs intended for the entire family, with fun and inventive lyrics set to memorable melodies. Featured on NPR's ‘All Things Considered,' the album was described as a "mix of pop hooks, sweetness and giddy humor (which) ought to bring a smile to even the grumpiest family member, regardless of age."
