The Colonial Presents Christmas at the Colonial: Sing-Along with Mary Verdi & Friends

Local favorite, Mary Verdi will perform a holiday concert at the Colonial called Christmas at the Colonial: Sing-Along with Mary Verdi & Friends. This performance is sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union and will be December 4 at 7pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under and can be purchased in person at the Colonial Ticket Office at 111 South Street Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, performance Saturdays 10am-2pm, by calling (413) 997-4444 or online at www.TheColonialTheatre.org.
Bring the whole family and ring in the Yuletide season with this old-fashioned Christmas sing-along celebration. This joyous performance features local favorite, Mary Verdi, along with some of the best musicians in the Berkshires and the most beloved songs of the season.Local favorite, Tony Lee Thomas, will be singing two songs, "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and "Merry Christmas Darling," (a duet with Mary Verdi). John Krol will be the Master of Ceremonies and will be joined by a children's cast of Elves and Santa will be making an appearance!The band for the evening will include Tony Lee Thomas, Ben Kohn, Dave Christopolis, Kali Baba O'Connell, Charlie Tokarz, Patty Feldman and Eileen Markland. Mary Verdi is a singer/songwriter from the Berkshires. Her debut CD Ocean for Travel was released in 2004 and has sold over 5,000 copies. Her second CD, Here at Home is a fundraiser for soldiers in the Berkshires. The Here at Home Committee welcomes soldiers back from overseas. Verdi's latest CD, Precious Love is a collection of love songs that she wrote to depict every aspect of love in her life: God, self, family, friends and community. Before arriving in the Berkshires, Verdi choreographed for many country acts including Reba McEntire, Forester Sisters and The New Grass Revival.
