The Spectrum Playhouse at 20 Franklin Street in Lee continues its ‘Family First Saturday at the Spectrum' events with "Michael's Surprise Show" at 11am today, June 2nd! This show is a unpredictable and inspiring journey into the world of Puppets.

The series started in October 2011 and continues year round, consisting of family and sensory friendly events occurring on the first Saturday of each month throughout the school year. The full remaining schedule is available on the Spectrum Playhouse Website at http://www.bvpac.org.

"The Spectrum Playhouse is delighted to be offering not only children's entertainment but a venue that is sensory friendly, inclusive and embraces the arts. We invite parents to come out share quality time with your children and enjoy all that the town of Lee has to offer!” states Francine Britton, SEDF National Coordinator.

Families who attend the 11am show are given a voucher for a discount lunch at the Starving Artist Cafe at 40 Main Street. A wonderful day out for the whole family on the First Saturday of each month!

The Spectrum Playhouse is a recently re-purposed church at the center of Lee: the former St. George's Episcopal Church. It is part of the Berkshire Visual and Performing Arts Center (BVPAC) project of the College Internship Program whose mission includes providing visual and performing arts opportunities for students with Learning Differences.
