Reagle Music Theatre Presents NUNSET BOULEVARD June 18-19

By:

Fans who just can't kick the "Nunsense" habit are in for another musical comedy treat when the Little Sisters of Hoboken return to Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston in "Nunset Boulevard: The Hollywood Bowl Musical" on Saturday, June 18 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 19 at 2 p.m. In this their seventh outing written and directed by creator Dan Goggin, the quintet of irrepressible singing and dancing nuns find themselves performing in a cabaret lounge at the Hollywood Bowl-a-Rama instead of at the famed outdoor amphitheater they thought had booked them for a concert.

Called "heavenly, hilarious, wacky and unpredictable" by ABC-TV News, "sinfully funny" by NBC-TV News, and a "sensational evening" by CBS-Lite FM, "Nunset Boulevard" has the Reverend Mother, Sister Robert Anne, Sister Hubert, Sister Leo, and Sister Amnesia knocking out musical numbers while customers are knocking down pins. In the midst of all this mayhem, the sisters take time out at intermission to audition for a new movie musical about Dolores Hart - an actress who famously became a nun. In the end "Nunset Boulevard" just proves one thing: the Little Sisters of Hoboken are big - only the movies have become small.

Reagle Music Theatre is presenting "Nunset Boulevard" as a special bonus visiting production to round out its 2011 summer season. Subscribers who purchase both "Oklahoma!" (July 8-17) and "The Sound of Music" (August 5-14) at the regular season discount of 20% off receive an additional discount of 25% off for "Nunset Boulevard."

Tickets to "Nunset Boulevard," "Oklahoma!" and "The Sound of Music" are available online at www.reaglemusictheatre.org, by calling 781-891-5600, or in person at the Box Office at the Robinson Theatre, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham, Mass. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and performance days 9 a.m. till curtain.
