Provincetown Theater Presents DRACULA FOR DUMMYS
The Provincetown Theater is pleased to present Dracula For Dummys, playing October 8 to 31. Strange events unfold as a play within a play within a play. The theater's lights go out moments before curtain. Eight actors scramble to their places as the show must go on! This odd group of friends band together to save the life of a dear friend and to rid their theater of a blood-sucking vampire. You don't want to miss this hilarious musical tribute to Dracula, the beloved late night television horror classic!
Dracula For Dummys (adapted and directed by Tristan DiVincenzo) pays homage to Bram Stoker's gothic thriller Dracula. According to DiVincenzo, "The script crams as many references to the plays, films, pop songs, comic books, cartoons and fan fiction novels that one director can pack into 90 minutes!".
Dracula For Dummys will open a month-long run at The Provincetown Theater, previewing on October 7th, 2016. The "frightfully talented" acting ensemble is supported by The Harmonics, a gypsy band of musicians.
