Photo Flash: WIT At The Provincetown Theatre

Provincetown Counter Productions in residence at the Provincetown Theatre and Artistic Director Susan Grilli are pleased to announce the final production in their critically acclaimed 2009 Winter Season. 'Wit', Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize Winning Play about a professor of 17th century metaphysical poetry who is forced to evaluate her humanity and her relationship to her work when she is diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer.

'Wit' will open May 15 for a strictly limited 3 week engagement. Performances continue Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Evenings at 7:30pm at the Provincetown Theatre, 238 Bradford St. Provincetown, MA.

A special 2pm matinee will replace the evening performance on Sunday, May 17th. Tickets priced $18.50-$22.50 are on sale now by calling 866.8111.4111 or visiting theatermania.com. Valerie Stanford directs a cast that includes Veteran Equity Actresses McNeely Myers and Lynda Sturner. Also featured in the cast is Elizabeth Clark (ABC's 'All My Children')as Susie Monahan, R.N.
