tick, tick...BOOM! by Pulitzer Prize Winner Jonathan Larson returns to the Provincetown Theatre on December 26th for 8 performances only until January 3rd. Perormances run every night at 7pm, except for Thursday, January 1st. Counter Productions is proud to present a reprisal of their critically acclaimed, smash hit production of tick, tick...BOOM! which played the Provincetown Theatre June 23-July 3rd, 2008.

tick, tick...BOOM! premiered Off-Broadway in June 2001 and is Jonathan Larson's autobiographical look at what it means to be an artist approaching the milestone of his 30th birthday. It features Book, Music and Lyrics by the late Rents scribe. David Auburn serves as script consultant with vocal arrangements by Stephen Oremus. Musical Direction is by Casey Sanderson and Susan Grilli Directs. The original cast returns including Actors Equity member Ethan Paulini who leads the cast as Jon. Also featured are Actors Equity member Adam Berry as Michael and Denise Parks as Susan.

The Provincetown Theatre is located at 238 Bradford St in Provincetown, MA.

Paulini has previously played the role of Michael in one of tick, tick...BOOM!'s regional premiere in 2004 at Cape Rep. He has appeared in New York in the MAC Award nominated Original Productions of The Sexless Years both at the Duplex and Ars Nova.

He appeared in the 2006 Gypsy of the Year Competition at the Neil Simon Theatre. He has also appeared in National Tours of A Christmas Carol and Cameron Mackintosh's Oliver!. Regionally he has appeared in The Full Monty, Forever Plaid, Urinetown, Side Show, Lady in the Dark, and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Ethan created the title role in the Regional Premiere of Andrew Gerle and Maryrose Wood's Richard Rodgers' Award Winning The Tutor (2007 Spirit Award) and last fall appeared in Cape Rep's World Premiere of Larson Award Winner Lance Horne's Back in the Day.
Paulini is also a founding member of the Spontaneous Evolution Ensemble (SEE Theatre), Interim Productions and Paulini and Howell Productions (with Angela C. Howell)
