Photo Coverage: Shakespeare & Company's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS

William Shakespeare's hilarious farce, The Comedy of Errors is playing at the Tina Packer Playhouse at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Ma. and Broadwayworld attended a performance. Director Taibi Magar delivers a whirlwind of magic, music and mayhem in the rollicking production of Shakespeare's shortest comedy. Performances run through August 23.

In her directorial debut at Shakespeare & Company Ms. Magar takes audiences on a fun and wild ride through the city of Ephesus, where two sets of identical twins who were separated a birth, collide and ignite an uproarious adventure of mistaken identity and human folly.

The 12- member cast brings back many Company veterans including Kelley Curran (Adriana), Cloteal L. Horne (Luciana), Malcom Ingram (Egeon), Josh Aaron McCabe (Dr. Pinch/Duke), Christianna Nelson (Abbess), Douglas Seldin (Luce/enssemble), Michael F. Toomey (angelo), who are complimented by newcomers Aaron Bartz (Dromio of Ephesus and Dromio of Syracuse), Ben Chase (officer/ensemble), Jenelle Chu (Courtesan), Ian Lassiter (Antipholus of Epheseus and Antipholus of Syracuse), and Daniel Rios Jr. (Merchant/ensemble).

The production team sees the return of lighting designer Matthew Miller and welcomes new members Tilly Grimes (Costume Designer), John McDermott (Set/Properties Designer), Stowe Nelson (Sound Designer), and Choreographer Jesse Perez.

Located in The Berkshires of Western Massachusetts and founded by Tina Packer in 1978, Shakespeare & Company is one of the largest Shakespeare Festivals in the country.
