Photo Coverage: BERKSHIRE CABARET Features Maureen O'Flynn at it's Grand Opening!

I was at the opening of the Barrington Bagel Company, and the (renovated-not original) opening of the MAHAWIE, COLONIAL, and BARRINGTON STAGE CO. Now the Berkshires have a new venue for Cabaret. Founded by Sandy Fisher (Berkshire Opera Co.) a Richmond, Ma resident, the new venture is dedicated to bringing the best cabaret singers and musicians to Berkshire audiences throughout the year.

It was highly appropriate that the Metroplitan Opera's Maureen O' Flynn chose Berkshire
Cabaret to launch her new Cabaret career. This Berkshire native is a breathtaking soprano who has sung on virtually all of the worlds great opera stages and will be making her Feinstein's at The Regency debut on September 11th in "Voices: The 9/11 Heroes' Concert". From the ebullient and excited response of this first night audience Berkshire Cabaret and Maureen O' Flynn are off to anoutstanding start. The show was directed by Eric Michael Gillett and Don Rebic Ms O'Flynn's music director on the Steinway supplied the wonderful accompaniment with his trio.
