JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR has become a cult-hit since it's first incarnation as a rock opera concept album in 1970. It is one of the most popular and enduring works ever created for the musical theatre. Featuring such notable songs as Superstar, Everything's Alright and I Don't Know How to Love Him, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR earned five TONY nominations. JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR sets to music the final seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

From Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, the unrest caused by his preaching and popularity, his betrayal by Judas, the trial before Pontius Pilate, and his ultimate crucifixion, SUPERSTAR remains as relevant and timeless as ever.

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, the rock opera vision of "the greatest story ever told," is perhaps more potent in today's troubled world than when it was first produced. Under the direction of Tessa Bry Taylor, this production rings true in the ears of our new millennium and this well-known story comes alive once again to the Provincetown Inn stage with Adam Berry rocking the role of Jesus.

A Boston Conservatory graduate, Adam Berry, best known for his paranormal investigation on the Syfy reality series Ghost Hunters will be headlining this production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Adam has been a fixture of the region's musical theatre scene, playing Claude in HAIR, Edgar in BAT BOY, Floyd in FLOYD COLLINS, and has also been seen performing at Feinstein's in NYC alongside Tony Winner Betty Buckley. Husband Ben Berry as Judas joins Adam onstage. A graduate of the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater, Ben created the role of Don in the premiere of Tennessee Williams' recently discovered play PARADE, OR APPROACHING THE END OF SUMMER, and performed in the Off-Broadway revival of CELEBRATION. The rest of the ensemble is as follows: Halcyone Hurst (Mary), Peter Donnelly (Pontius Pilate), Erin Golden (King Herod), Brian C. Williams (Peter), Clyde Shelby Mellert (Caiaphas), Lacey A. Waite (Annas), and Tessa Bry Taylor (Simon).
