Oberon's HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH Opens Tonight, 8/13
Due to popular demand, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH has extended its limited engagement through August 22nd at OBERON (2 Arrow St. Cambridge, Mass.). The cast includes JJ Parkey as Hedwig and Ruthie Stephens as Yitzhak. Directed by Edward Carignan with music direction by Matthew McGrath and produced by Rose Tinted Productions, the show's opening night is tonight, August 13 (8 p.m.).
Since its original Off-Broadway production in 1999, this award-winning rock musical has taken the world by storm and achieved a cult status in the vein of Rocky Horror and Reefer Madness. Join Hedwig at OBERON for a night of hilarious and heartbreaking storytelling mixed with hard-hitting rock in the venue she was born to play. With text by John Cameron Mitchell and an electrifying score by Stephen Trask, come experience the glam rock event of the summer that will leave your head banging harder, your heart beating faster, and your soul loving stronger.

Tickets may also be purchased in-person in advance at the Loeb Drama Center box office (64 Brattle St, Cambridge, MA). Box office hours are 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays). A limited number of tickets may also be available at the door.
