Oberon Presents O.N.C.E. IN HELL: Dante’s Inferno in 10 Courses 10/24

OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's destination for theater and nightlife on the fringe of Harvard Square, is bringing exciting and original programming to the space in 2010. The home of the A.R.T.'s hit productions of The Donkey Show and Cabaret, OBERON also presents the work of local and visiting talent. For one night only, OBERON presents O.N.C.E. in Hell: Dante's Inferno in 10 Courses, a food and performance event in collaboration with Cuisine en Locale on Sunday, October 24.

Abandon hope, all ye who join, for a culinary and theatrical interpretation of the venerable 14th c. work by Dante Alighieri, Divina Commedia: INFERNO .
After a smashing success in December of 2009, O.N.C.E. in Hell returns to OBERON for one night only and features ten courses of locally sourced food and a theatrical journey through the rings of hell of Dante's Inferno. Food is by Cuisine en Locale, who offer O.N.C.E (One Night Culinary Events) throughout the year, highlighting seasonally appropriate local food. Allegra Libonati, Artistic Associate at the A.R.T, and Steven Mitchell Wright, Movement Director for Cabaret, create the performance and the cast will be filled with familiar faces from the A.R.T. and OBERON.

Virgil, your Maitre D', will lead you through the nine circles of hell in search of the love of your life, Beatrice, who has summoned you from beyond the grave. Meet furies, a three-headed dog and a cast of wild characters as they serve you not only your meal but also a night of devilish entertainment. The perfect fine dining experience just in time for Halloween.
Tickets: $85

Cost of admission includes ten courses of locally sourced food along with an epic performance, followed by a celebration in Heaven. Gratuity and alcohol not included. Full bar available as well as a special cocktail and wine menu.
