North Shore Civic Ballet Receives Marblehead Cultural Council Grant
"It's wonderful the town of Marblehead recognizes the presence of a fine artistic organization that provides quality dance to our community," said Grant.
With the grant award, the NSCB will present to the public a performance of ballet, featuring original works created by Resident Choreographer Ivan Korn. The NSCB's dancers, drawn from the North Shore and the greater Boston area, will perform under Artistic Director Paula K. Shiff, the 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient in the Arts from Salem State University.
The public is invited to get involved and make a contribution to support this new program's expenses that are not supported by the grant. The NSCB is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt, nonprofit organization based at the Marblehead School of Ballet, located at 115 Pleasant Street in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
