MURDER BALLAD, the new immersive rock musical that enjoyed an acclaimed, sold-out run in New York City will play OBERON (2 Arrow Street, Cambridge MA) this August for a strictly limited engagement.

Performances will begin at OBERON tonight, August 29. Tickets for Murder Ballad are on sale now by visiting MurderBalladBoston.com or calling 617.547.8300.

MURDER BALLAD is conceived by Jonathan Larson Award winner Julia Jordan with book and lyrics by Jordan and music and lyrics by indie rock singer/songwriter Juliana Nash. Edward Carignan (Hedwig and the Angry Inch at OBERON) directs.

MURDER BALLAD is a 360-degree immersive theatrical experience where the action happens everywhere you look. With a pulse-pounding, electric rock score, this dangerously steamy and razor-sharp new musical will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first forbidden kiss to the last untimely breath.

MURDER BALLAD is the dramatic story of a love triangle gone wrong centering on Sara, an uptown girl who seems to have it all, but whose downtown past lingers enticingly and dangerously in front of her. The musical explores the complications of love, the compromises we make, and the betrayals that can ultimately undo us forever.

Complete casting will be announced soon.

MURDER BALLAD is being produced by Rose Tinted Productions (Hedwig and the Angry Inch at OBERON).

More information on the production can be found at www.MurderBalladBoston.com.
