New Century Theatre Presents GOD OF CARNAGE, Now thru 8/3
As part of its 23rd summer season, New Century Theatre presents GOD OF CARNAGE, by Yasmina Reza, directed by Ed Golden. In the aftermath of a playground brawl between their sons, two sets of well-meaning parents meet to calmly resolve the incident. What begins with the best of intentions quickly shatters the veneer of all civilized discourse, devolving into a hilarious train-wreck of an evening - complete with finger pointing accusations, hysterical bickering and a multi-round grudge match.
Don't be left out of this viciously funny production that the New York Times described as a blend between THE HONEYMOONERS and WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF.
The show will play at the New Century in Northampton, MA from July 25 through August 3. Show time for today, July 25 and July 30, 31, 28 and August 1 will be 7:30 p.m. Showtime for July 26, 27 and August 2-3 will be 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, July 28 there will be a matinee at 2:00 p.m.
