New Century Theatre Presents Sarah Treem's THE HOW AND THE WHY, Now Through 7/12
By: Courtnie Mele
THE HOW AND THE WHY by Sarah Treem, directed by Sheila Siragusa, and featuring Suzanne Ankrum and Lisa Abend come to New Century Theatre July 3-12, 2014.
Two women meet for the first time - one an ambitious young graduate student, the other a well-respected Harvard professor. Both are brilliant evolutionary biologists. Their meeting on the eve of a national conference evolves into an intellectual, professional, and personal showdown.
From the acclaimed writer/producer of such television hits as IN TREATMENT and HOUSE OF CARDS comes a fascinating and compelling new play about science, family, and survival of the fittest. The Boston Globe hailed THE HOW AND THE WHY as a satisfyingly intense evening of high-IQ theatre.
