The Student Educational Fund (SEDF), founder of the Berkshire Visual and Performing Arts Center (BVPAC) in Lee, MA, is delighted to announce that NBT Bank has come on board as the lead sponsor for their 'First Saturday at the Spectrum' Series. There are 10 family-friendly events occurring on the first Saturday of each month throughout the school year. The day starts at 11am with a music or theatre for young audiences event. Families are then invited to stay for lunch and are given a voucher for a discount lunch at the Starving Artist Cafe on Main Street. Following that, from 1:00-2:00, there is a Family Friendly Make-and-Take activity at the Good Purpose Gallery, also on Main Street. It is a wonderful day out for the whole family!

The next event is Saturday, November 5 at 11am. Nutshell Playhouse will present 'Pirates,' a swashbuckling hour long adventure featuring bold buccaneers, a mysterious map with a riddle, cursed treasure, a visit to an island that you can't see, a pirate ghost, and a magical journey to the bottom of the sea. The performance begins with an official recognition of NBT bank as the main sponsor for the series.

"SEDF is delighted to honor, appreciate, and accept the sponsorship of NBT Bank as we put forth wonderful, sensory friendly events that encourage families to come out and support not only our mission, but embrace the diversity and inclusivity of our community." Francine Britton (National Coordinator for SEDF)
